About Don Mitchell

Don Mitchell

Don Mitchell, born and raised in Hilo, Hawai'i, now lives in Ithaca, New York. He's been making images for about 60 years. He's a retired ecological anthropologist who currently makes photographs, writes fiction, and designs books for small publishers. His latest book is "Shibai: Remembering Jane Britton's Murder," published by Saddle Road Press in 2021.
